Measurement and calculation of steel consumption in high steel consumption sub-sectors:

Machine tool industry: In 2020 Q1 steel consumption will be 1.43 million tons, down 22% year-on-year;

Petrochemical general machinery industry: In 2020, Q1 will consume 1.32 million tons of steel, a year-on-year increase of 6%;

Construction machinery industry: In 2020 Q1 steel consumption will be 1.35 million tons, which has been flat year-on-year;

Heavy mining industry: In 2020 Q1 steel consumption will be 1.09 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 5%;
