High Strength ASTM A193 B7 Threaded Rod
astm a193 grade b7 threaded rod is produced by threads rolling machines from ASTM A193 Grade B7 steel round bar which is usually 4140 Q&T steel round bar. After quenching and tempering, 4140 Alloy Steel Round Bar has higher and uniform mechanical properties which can improve the threaded rod wearability and makes it more tough.
Bolt performance grades are divided into more than 10 grades such as 3.6, 4.6, 4.8, 5.6, 6.8, 8.8, 9.8, 10.9, 12.9, etc. Among them, the bolts of grade 8.8 and above are made of low-carbon alloy steel or medium-carbon steel and have been heat-treated (quenched, reconditioned, etc.).
