Scm420 Annealed Steel Bar
Scm420 steel material is one kind of alloy steel with high hardenability, good weldability and good machinability, which is generally used for components which require high wear resistance such as gears, shafts, high-pressure pipes and some kinds of fasteners etc. The most popular scm420 steel bar includes: steel round bar, annealed bar, Bright Steel Bar, Hexagon Steel Bar and Cold Drawn Steel Bar.
Annealed steel bar has better ductility and lower hardness, which can be easier to be machined. The annealing processing is usually widely used for steel grade with higher carbon content above 0.5%. However, some low carbon steel also requires to do annealing for special usage such as scm420 gear steel. After annealing, scm420 steel bar hardness can be 217HB max.
